1. Physical and bonding performance (must be tested before leaving the factory)


These indicators determine whether the label can be stuck, removed without leaving traces:


Thickness deviation: Usually controlled within ±0.005mm to ensure printing accuracy.


180° peel strength: Measures the ease of removing the label, usually between 4 - 7 N/25mm (refer to GB/T 2792).


Holding power: Evaluates the label's anti - displacement ability during long - term adhesion, usually requiring ≥24 hours (refer to GB/T 4851).


Warping test: The edge warping height ≤2mm to prevent curling at high temperatures.


Tensile strength: ≥140 N/25mm to ensure the label is not easily torn.


2. High - temperature resistance performance (core indicator)


For the electronic manufacturing (SMT reflow soldering) scenario, the extreme tolerance ability of the material is mainly verified:


260℃ high - temperature test: Stick the label on a steel plate or PCB board, bake it in an oven at 260℃ for 1 hour, then take it out and cool it. The passing standard is: no residual adhesive, no degumming (refer to GB/T 2792).


Chemical solvent resistance: Tests the label's tolerance in cleaning solvents such as isopropyl alcohol (IPA) and flux, requiring no peeling or coating peeling after soaking.


3. Electrical and environmental reliability


For precision circuit applications, insulation and stability are crucial:


Breakdown strength: ≥150 kV/mm to ensure it is not broken down under high voltage.


Hazardous substance limit: Complies with the RoHS standard (refer to GB/T 26572) to ensure it does not contain heavy metals such as lead and mercury.


4. Printing adaptability (optional verification)


According to the product characteristics of Hongxing, the printing effect will also be verified:


Coating compatibility: Verifies the adhesion and high - temperature resistance of the thermal transfer ribbon to ensure the barcode can still be clearly scanned after high - temperature exposure.


Color fastness: Verifies whether the white or colored coating turns yellow at high temperatures.


Purchase advice: If you need to verify the performance of a specific batch, it is recommended to request the SGS test report or RoHS report from the manufacturer, and pay special attention to the residual adhesive rate and the 260℃ temperature resistance test, which are the two indicators most prone to problems in actual production.
